Professional Summary

Dr. Oluyori Abimbola Peter is a privileged Lecturer in the Industrial Chemistry Programme, Department of Physical Sciences, Landmark University and he is a member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria. After his NYSC in the Federal Capital Territory, he secured an appointment with Thomas Adewumi international College Oko, where he taught Cambridge Chemistry courses to Ordinary and Advanced Level Students until his appointment in Landmark University. With his main research interests in Natural Products, Medicinal Chemistry and Biomass Valorization, Abimbola aims at exploring natural products/ waste biomass for biologically active constituents such as anticancer/ antimicrobial agents with no or minimal side effects and derivatizing promising isolates for improved biological activity. He also has some growing interest in Environmental Chemistry and plans to employ organic chemistry skills in providing solutions to indigenous environmental challenges in future. He is a writer/ singer of positive music, married and blessed with children.
